Tools that work as fast as you think
BlinkCalc is a free, independent platform of calculators, converters, and everyday utilities. We build small tools that are quick, clear, and educational, so you can get an answer and understand where it came from.
Our mission
Plenty of useful calculators are hidden behind signup walls or cluttered pages. BlinkCalc aims to make them easy to reach. Our mission is simple: give everyone instant access to the tools they need, with zero friction.
Whether you are a student checking your BMI, a developer decoding a JWT, a freelancer working out a discount, or someone formatting JSON, BlinkCalc has a tool ready in one click. No account required.
What you will find here
- Calculators for maths, personal finance, health, dates and times, and everyday jobs such as home projects.
- Converters for units, data formats such as CSV, JSON, XML, and YAML, and file types such as PDF and images.
- Text, developer, design, and writing tools, from word counters and JSON formatters to color and CSS generators.
- Guides that explain the ideas behind the tools, such as how loan interest is calculated or what BMI does and does not measure.
Browse everything on the all tools page, by category, or in the articles section.
What makes BlinkCalc different
A small set of principles guides every tool we ship.
Tool first
Each tool page puts the calculator or converter at the top, so you can get a result before reading the explanation below it.
Private by design
Most calculators, converters, and file tools run directly in your browser. A few features have to contact an outside service to work, such as live currency rates, website status checks, and internet speed tests. Site analytics and advertising are described separately in the Privacy Policy.
Educational, not just instant
Where it helps, we explain the formula, share a worked example, and link to deeper guides so you leave with understanding.
Free, with no signup
Open a tool and use it. There is no account to create and no paywall in front of the result.
Who we are
BlinkCalc is an independent educational utility website. We publish free calculators, converters, and digital tools that help people understand the numbers behind everyday questions, not just produce a result.
The tools are built to be simple and mobile-friendly. Where it helps, we include short explanations, the underlying formula, worked examples, and links to related guidance, so a reader can leave knowing a little more than when they arrived.
Articles are generally published under the byline “BlinkCalc Editorial Team”. BlinkCalc uses AI-assisted tools in development and content preparation. Pages are reviewed by a person before publication. Our Editorial Standards page explains how pages are written, checked, and corrected, including where that process currently falls short.
How BlinkCalc is supported
BlinkCalc is free to use. To support hosting, development, maintenance, and content improvement costs, BlinkCalc may display advertising. Advertising helps keep the tools available without requiring subscriptions, signups, or paywalls.
- We do not charge users to access calculators.
- Advertising does not change calculator formulas or results.
Accuracy and limitations
We work to keep formulas, explanations, and examples accurate and useful. Calculator results may involve assumptions, rounding, simplified formulas, or user-entered data. BlinkCalc tools are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
- Financial calculators are estimates, not financial advice.
- Health calculators are informational, not medical advice.
- Tax, legal, and business calculators should not replace professional advice.
- Please verify important decisions with a qualified professional.
